Had the opportunity to use @wonderdotme with an online group today. Great experience facilitating breakout spaces, much smoother than breakout rooms in Teams and Zoom and better than the workarounds in Google. Thanks @clos_gm for introducing it. #physed

@wonderdotme also enables the creation of quite basic collaborative environments, but its simplicity is a feature rather than a flaw.

... instead of all facing each other like in a Zoom call, they can jump between conversations in video, audio or text.
Different to the incumbent Zoom, it enables in-between chats, group collaboration and networking. Wonder therefore simulates in-person social interactions.
A platform to come together in video-based groups to meet up and collaborate, while also having a bird’s-eye view of a larger space where they can more serendipitously interact with others — not unlike in an office or other business venue.
